Worship With Us
We Wholeheartedly Encounter God’s Presence and Power
Christ the Savior is Born!
Join us for worship on Christmas eve, December 24, at 4:00 and 9:00 PM! We will again hear the familiar words from Luke's gospel, sing Christmas carols, and share in the Lord's supper as we remember our savior's birth.
On December 28 at 10:30 AM we will have a joint worship service with our partner congregation, Lakeview Lutheran Church (1194 County Rd C E, Maplewood).
All are invited and all are welcome!
This is how we do it
Our Way of Worship
With Jesus as both our example and our object of Passionate Worship, we practice holding nothing back, engaging our whole selves and our entire lives, to say that God is worth more to us than anything else. Through free and diverse expression and creativity, we “Love the Lord” remembering and celebrating wholeheartedly who God is and what God does, as well as who we are and what we are called to do. We gather regularly as a spiritual family to encounter God’s word in the scriptures, God’s promises in baptism and communion, God’s family in the worshiping community, and God’s calling to be children of God and servants of Christ. We listen to God’s story and tell stories of God’s presence and power in our lives. We are sent from the gathered community to worship God in all of life through prayer, scripture reading, spiritual disciplines, and loving service. Passionate Worship empowers us to live a God-first life! “Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.’ (Deuteronomy 6:4-5).
