Focus on Faith
The Sundays after Pentecost and Holy Trinity are known as “ordinary time” in the church. We began a new church year in December with Advent, the season of preparation before Christmas. We’ve been through Epiphany, experiencing how the Lord is made manifest among us. The penitential season of Lent and the joy of Easter has passed, and we’ve celebrated the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost and the mystery of the Three-in-one.
Ordinary time is known as a season of growth - a time to focus on learning and growing in Christ, and allowing the love of God and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to penetrate more deeply. This summer, take some time to ponder how God wants you to grow.
How will you make this summer a season of growth in your own life?
What goals do you have for growing in your faith? In life?
In what ways can you intentionally slow down and quiet yourself to hear what God wants you to listen to?
Ordinary doesn’t have to mean boring! There’s so much going on around us at church and in the world. How will you experience your daily activities in a new way, or with new insight?
At Christ the Servant we pray that this may be a summer of extraordinary time as we work, play, live, learn, and grow together in Christ.

We Learn to Be and Become Like Jesus
At Christ The Servant Lutheran Church, we are dedicated to intentional faith development, offering meaningful opportunities for all to deepen their relationship with God and grow in community. Our Bible studies meet twice weekly, with Sunday sessions at 8:00 AM and Wednesday sessions at 10:00 AM, creating space for learning and spiritual reflection. We also host a Women’s Bible Study, meeting from 9:30 to 11:00 AM every-other Saturday, designed for fellowship, study, and support among women of faith. Each gathering fosters a welcoming environment where participants can connect, ask questions, and strengthen their faith journey together.
