You are needed!

We are exploring the possibility of the youth doing a local “mission trip” – right here in our own community. Do you have any outdoor work that the youth could possibly help complete on one of the mission trip service days? We would be helping out on either a morning or afternoon for 2-3 hours. All safety measures would be in place for both your safety and the youth – meaning we would not enter your home. The dates have not been set yet; but it would be in June, July or August. Please contact Lori Moore with any questions!

Starting May 8, our Saturday book group will be reading Intern Katie’s new book, “Sealed: An Unexpected Journey into the Heart of Grace”.   We’ll discuss the book over the course of three Saturdays: May 8, May 22, and June 5 from 10:00 AM  to Noon in person at the church and via Zoom.    Intern Katie will join us to talk about the book, answer questions, and enjoy fellowship together. If you need a copy of the book, you can find it on Amazon or you can contact Katie directly at

The National Day of Prayer – Thursday, May 6, 2021

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.  “Our Task Force” is a privately funded organization whose purpose is to encourage participation on the National Day of Prayer.  It exists to communicate with every individual the need for personal repentance and prayer, to create appropriate materials, and to mobilize the Christian community to intercede for America’s leaders and its families.  The Task Force represents a Judeo-Christian expression of the national observance, based on our understanding that this country was birthed in prayer and in reverence for the God of the Bible.
